Drag Racing Personality:

The Linda Vaughn Gallery

These collectible drag racing images are 8 inch by 10 inch RC Silver Prints picturing the Queen of drag racing (Linda Vaughn). These low resolution images don't do the prints justice. Each 8" by 10" RC Silver Print, hand crafted and signed by the artist, is very reasonably priced at $29.95 plus $5.00 I/S/H. Ordering more than one print equals discounts.

#114. 1972: Racing Personality Linda Vaughn

The beautiful Linda Vaughn has been associated with the Hurst Company for what seems like forever. This image was captured during a TV interview. What can we say, this side angle brings to mind the famous old drag racing axiom, "You Can't Beat Cubic Inches." Viva Miss Hurst! She's definitely sold a lot of shifters and is still a fabulous addition to our sport.

#127. 1972: Racing Personality Linda Vaughn - Birds Eye View

Here we see Linda in motion, captured from a birds eye view as she strolled through the pits, smiling at everyone.

#218. 1972: Racing Personality Linda Vaughn Riding The Hurst Olds

This image pictures the Queen of drag racing (Linda Vaughn) riding The Hurst Olds in the pre-race parade. It was captured at the 1972 IHRA Summer Nationals held at Dragway 42 (West Salem, Ohio) on August 20, 1972. This net image can't do this print justice (very sharp and snappy with good shadow detail). Here we see the beautiful and brave Linda Vaughn, holding on with one hand and waving to the huge crowd with the other..... always smiling. The 1972 Olds 442, was the official pace car of the 1972 Indianapolis 500. What a pair!

#220. 1972: The Winning Ramchargers Team with Linda Vaughn

Here we see Linda Vaughn surrounded by the winning Ramchargers Team. It was created at the 1972 IHRA Summer Nationals held at Dragway 42 (West Salem, Ohio) on August 20, 1972 This net image can't do this print justice (extremely sharp). Linda Vaughn is sandwiched between the Ramchargers team and she looks like she likes it!. Clare Sanders drove this car through a very impressive field to win the 1972 IHRA Summer Nationals with consistent speeds approaching 230 MPH (huge numbers for the time).

#219. 1972: Racing Personality Linda Vaughn - With Fan

Here we see the beautiful and very young Linda, still signing autographs long after the race was over. She didn't have to do that but she did. Viva Miss Hurst! Linda definitely sold a lot of shifters and is still a fabulous addition to our sport.

#342. 1972: Racing Personality Linda Vaughn

Here we see Linda hanging out in the pits, mugging for the camera. She was a beautiful and charismatic personally; even this harsh, overhead sunlight couldn't spoil her looks (see detail).
